5.4.1. Cambridge Structural database

Established in 1965, the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) is the world’s repository for small-molecule organic and metal-organic crystal structures, containing about 700 000 crystal structures. The national installation is maintained at FZU, supported by its major users and administrated by Czech and Slovak Crystallographic Association. It is available for universities, academic institutions and students in the Czech Republic.

5.4.2. Inorganic Crystal Structure Database

Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD) of FIZ Karlsruhe provides the scientific and the industrial community with the world's largest database for completely identified inorganic crystal structures, containing about 180 000 peer-reviewed data entries including their atomic coordinates dating back to 1913. FZU maintains four licences of this database supported by its major users.
