HiLASE - New lasers for industry and research

HiLASE Centre is a research and development infrastructure focusing on development of advanced high‐repetition rate, diode pumped solid state laser systems with high average power in the order of kW, pulse energy in the range of mJ to 100 J, pulse duration in the range 1 ps tom 10 ns, and repetition rate in the range of 10 Hz – 1 MHz. Our lasers are used to study novel applications of lasers in research and high‐tech industry, for example secondary photon sources, laser induced damage threshold measurement, laser shock peening for improved material fatigue resistivity, or transparent material processing for photonics devices manufacturing.
