Laboratory of Nanostructures and Nanomaterials

Laboratory of Nanostructures and Nanomaterials (LNSM) is a combined technological & analytical research platform operated by the Institute of Physics AS CR, v. v. i. LNSM officially covers the national needs for open access associated with nanomaterials and nanostructures but also possesses significant international impact. The LNSM has been established by a selection of advanced yet complementary research units characterised by a robust background combining: proven scientific track record, state-of-the-art equipment with long-term experience in operation, advanced technologies, and close cooperation with both the high-tech industry and universities. LNSM is designed to fulfil national R&D Priorities approved by the Government Resolution in the area of "Sustainability of energetics and material resources" and to be complementary to the newly founded research infrastructures in the Czech Republic, currently being supported from the EU structural funds.
